1. CI vs CD?
Continuous Integration merges and tests code automatically on every change. Continuous Delivery/Deployment automatically releases tested builds to environments.
2. Container vs virtual machine?
Containers share the host OS kernel and start in seconds; VMs include a full guest OS and are heavier but more isolated.
3. Blue-green vs canary deployment?
Blue-green switches all traffic from the old to the new environment at once (easy rollback). Canary sends a small percentage of traffic to the new version first.
4. Why infrastructure as code?
Repeatable, reviewable, version-controlled environments (e.g. Terraform) instead of manual clicks.
