Kubernetes explained with a restaurant analogy
Imagine a restaurant chain:
- Cluster – the whole restaurant.
- Node – a kitchen station with its own stove and staff.
- Pod – one chef with their tools; the smallest unit that does the cooking.
- Deployment – the manager's rule: "always keep 3 pizza chefs working". If one leaves, another is hired.
- Service – the waiter who takes orders to whichever chef is free, so customers never need to know who cooked.
Once this picture clicks, the YAML files start to read like staffing instructions.

Very clear and to the point. Revised this the night before my interview and two questions came up!
